Welcome to the Wild Memories Taxidermy website.

My name is Brandon Barber, the owner of Wild Memories Taxidermy in Ackley, Iowa.  I have been doing taxidermy part-time for the past 6 years. I started out doing all the skinning, fleshing, and salting at a local taxidermy studio and decided to take my skills to the next level by becoming a licensed taxidermist producing quality mounts myself.

I was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age and started hunting and fishing on my own as soon as I was able. My love for the outdoors has led me to make a career of preserving it.  Chasing trophy game has always been a big thrill, now, as a taxidermist I can complete the circle by preserving the trophy as well as the memories of the hunt.  My goal is to make your trophy as lifelike as possible so those memories are relived every time you look at it.
